We were out at Biesemeyer Point today doing some Open Water Scuba Diver Skills 1 and 2. The water temperature was about 86 degrees and the visibility was about 7 feet. We were discussing how this was sort of average for Lake Pleasant this time of year.
To our surprise, we were being watched by a curious family of Mallard Ducks. The swam by the dive float, then they followed us to shore. While we were doing our surface interval, the ducks hung out in the water, keeping an eye on us.
Under water, we did see a small school of baby bass. We even saw a larger bass. These siting help to make the dive more enjoyable for everyone.
